You Definitely Need a Good Book Cover!

Book cover Design: a key Step in Book publishing/Marketing

Book cover design for Authors

Andrea designs award-winning book covers for authors (nonfiction).

Everyone judges books by their cover, quickly. In fact, research shows that you get 1/10 of a second to make a first impression!

Your book cover is one of your greatest assets that will help you market and sell your book, over time.

Your book deserves an incredible, unique cover that helps it stand out in your genre, bringing you the credibility you deserve after so much hard work.

In particular, I help entrepreneurs in the niches of conscious business, self-help, spiritual & personal development books to create beautiful, professional book cover designed to sell!

There is an enormous market for personal development books. People are hungry for these kind of books. If you are a coach and you have the burning desire to write a book, I sincerely hope you will do it! Writing and self-publishing a book will enrich you personally and professionally in multiple ways. If you are still looking for a book coach/developmental editor, please contact me and I can refer you to the right one after hearing a bit more about your project.

Process

During the past few decades of designing publications for clients, I’ve developed a lovely, fluid process to ensure you will absolutely love your book cover (front, back and spine). The work we do together will help you stand out in your genre, add credibility to your business, and give you the confidence to sell your books with pride.

All the tiny details of a book cover add up to give the potential reader a quick glimpse into your writing. When this is not done well, it is an impediment to sales of your book. There are many technical and aesthetic hoops to jump through in the quest for a professional, saleable book, especially if you want to provide your audience with the option of a printed book.

I care about those details, so your book is the best it can be! If you are considering either a “print run” from a traditional offset (or digital) printer, or offering your book “print on demand” e.g., on Amazon, we can make sure your book is at the highest professional level possible.

“Andrea Schmidt designed my book, The Boreal Curmudgeon, and did a stellar job of it. My illustrator, Heidi Marion and I were delighted with the quality of her work. The book looks beautiful. In spite of delays and confusion at our end, Andrea always completed her work on time, and there were no surprises in the budget. She was endlessy patient and helpful and contributed quite a lot more than she was paid for in the way of help and advice, going so far as to copy edit the book at no extra charge. This was my first venture into self-publishing and without Andrea’s expertise, I would have been lost. I would not hesitate to engage her services again if I had a similar project in mind.”
